Jewellery Care

Stone and Metal jewellery is designed and carefully hand-made with intention by brand founder, designer and metalsmith Samantha Anderson.

Samantha is passionate about creating jewels that are as much a pleasure to wear as they are to look at, and therefore forges each piece with impeccable attention to detail and only the highest quality 925 Sterling Silver and genuine, responsibly-sourced stones from right around the world.

It is natural for 925 Sterling Silver to tarnish or slightly discolour over time, especially if the piece is well-loved and worn regularly.

What are common sources of tarnish to 925 Sterling Silver?
-Exposure to moisture, humidity or direct sunlight for long periods of time
-Skin acidity (pH balance)
-Contact with perfumes, soaps, moisturisers, shampoos and cleaning products
-Exposure to chlorine

Your Stone and Metal jewellery can be cleaned by using a soft polishing cloth (we recommend Town Talk Anti-Tarnish Silver Polishing cloth) and kept sparkling longer by giving care to not expose them to tarnishing elements where possible.

We advise caution if cleaning with 'dip' solutions as they are unsuitable for use on some pieces including stone-set items.
